Alex Stivrins Scores for the Hawks (1993)
Просмотров 4547 месяцев назад
Belated happy birthday to Alex Stivrins (or Aleksis Stivriņš), one of the two players of Latvian descent to make their NBA debut in the 1980's (Leo Rautins was the other one, however, he gravitated more towards his Lithuanian roots). Son of Kazimirs Stivrins, who emigrated from Latvia during World War 2, Alex made a point to visit Latvia after we regained independence from the USSR rule and was...
Predrag Drobnjak (18pts) vs. Lakers (2003)

An ode to the man who inspired Drobnjak's Manjaks and this video about the creative, yet bizarre Sonics marketing campaign: ruclips.net/video/33JHJD2Glxk/видео.html Here's a fact. In three of his four NBA seasons Predrag Drobnjak had one of his six highest-scoring games against Shaq. Here's another... Despite not making the playoffs, the Sonics were 2-2 against the Lakers in the 2002-03 season....
Ray Allen Triple Double (29pts/10rebs/10asts) vs. Lakers (2003)
Просмотров 76811 месяцев назад
This highlight reel works on two levels. One is showcasing Ray Allen's passing chops in his most significant role as a creator. He averaged 5.9 assists per game in that 29-game stretch after the Gary Payton trade. The second level is how potent on offense was that Ray Allen Rashard Lewis spacing concept the Sonics built! Despite their lack of real playoff success, they had stretches of scary go...

Jerry Sloan Criticizes Recent Jazz Signee Mehmet Okur
Просмотров 914Год назад
Funny story told by Bob Fitzgerald about Jerry Sloan's first impressions of Mehmet Okur. Quick research on my part allows me to back up his story. Not particularly hard to find newspaper clippings from October and November of 2004 where Sloan openly questions Okur's conditioning. November 5, 2004. R.I.P. Jerry Sloan
Veteran Calbert Cheaney Beats Raja Bell and Slams It Home
Просмотров 1,1 тыс.Год назад
This was one of the six times that a 33-year-old Calbert Cheaney pulled off a slam dunk for the 2004-05 Golden State Warriors. As you probably know, Cheaney was never one to frequently attack the rim to begin with. This particular season 2.6% of his field goal attempts were dunks. That number was around 4.0% in his prime, per the ever-amazing Basketball-Reference. November 5, 2004.
Eduardo Najera Slams Down a Coast to Coast Jam (2004)
Просмотров 2 тыс.Год назад
Eduardo Najera turns some pesky defense into a well-deserved highlight dunk. This was his second game for the Warriors in what ultimately was a pretty short stint at Golden State. November 5, 2004.
Andris Biedrins (31pts, 14/17 FG) (Career High) vs. Nuggets
Просмотров 3,8 тыс.Год назад
Fast pace? Lazy effort from opposing big men? Lax execution of pick-and-roll coverages? Sounds like the perfect environment for an awesome game by Andris Biedrins. He would convert .626% of his 2-pointers the year after, but this right here is prime Biedrins rolling to the rim every chance he gets and converting from the left side of the basket. It's weird how Nellie suddenly started Mickael Pi...
Earl Boykins (17pts/10asts) vs. Warriors (2006)
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.Год назад
Sometimes you watch the shorter guys like Earl Boykins and Muggsy Bogues, and catch yourself thinking that they also managed to use their height to their advantage. In this one Boykins slices through tight spaces for beautiful assists and annoys the Warriors with his foul drawing prowess. The double-double is topped off with an on-the-court interview following his nice performance, which came r...
Andris Biedrins Makes His NBA Debut (2004)

An 18-year-old Andris Biedrins steps on the court in his first NBA game. First free throws, first point, first rebound and first steal, as well as first experience of going up against an established NBA center in Mehmet Okur. The seasons to come mightily influenced Latvian basketball. It had a huge influence on Yours truly as well. November 5, 2004.

Seeing as this video has drawn a lot of attention both on here and Twitter, felt like it deserved a description. This compilation was published to make a point in an article about Kristaps Porzingis's place within the Dallas Mavericks. By this point it's no secret that he's having thoughts whether he likes it in Dallas, to put it lightly. I consider that it's worth asking whether a heliocentric...

"Spēlēt tajā vietā, redzēt visus kreklus pie griestiem, neskaitāmos čempionu titulu banerus - tas neapšaubāmi atstāj iespaidu. Tajā spēlē bija mandrāža," par savu debiju NBA stāsta Gundars Vētra. Not used to announcers getting up Jordan’s ass for a bad pass.
I would’ve been lmao if I was Horace. Must be the goggles cause he stayed focused
Shout to #73 Dennis Rodman lol
I use the try to try the shoot like Joe. Balanced slight fade and perfect rotation
I remember Stojko when he came to the LA Clippers. He always reminded me of a Tall Mr.Bean! lol
How easy they forget..
I didn't know they made magic underwear that big!!
People will say no one can stop Michael Jordan but in this game Bulls couldn't stop Chris Mullin either!
I found this guy because I was looking back at recent Team USA performances and Kevin Durant kept showing up as the scoring leader for multiple Olympics, so I thought to myself, "surely he's got to be the all-time Olympics scoring leader." Not even close, Oscar Schmidt's point total is more than double of Kevin Durant, who is the US leader by a fair margin. Schmidt played in five Olympics and Durant will get his fourth appearance in 2024-I don't imagine anyone is touching that record anytime soon, perhaps ever.
cheering for them to not hit 50, lmao
Do u have the first game of this series
"What would Arnold say if he saw that?" lol. Tommy and Cousy talking about how Red would have destroyed them if they ever high fived an opposing player after they made a shot you were just guarding them on
I think Byron was defending the wrong player, yes, but maybe he thought the alternative offensive play was an alley oop dunk.
Craziest part of this game. Kobe’s dad was on the clippers
Thanks for posting these, MM was one of my favorite players, a joy to watch. He wasn't acrobatic, he was just rock-steady and impressive as a player. Remember wanting to watch the All Star game so much and pulling for him cuz he was in it, and in his team's arena, he did not disappoint! RIP Mike Mitchell
One of my favorite players since when he was with the Cavs. He wasn't a flashy or overly-aggressive player, just operated smoothly, had great elevation on rebounds, simple but exceptional athletic moves and a refreshing shooting style that was from the wrist at the top of arms fully extended. Just a really good focused presence on the court, and a shot like silk. Does his tailoring business remain? Just found out he passed. FAR too young. Sad, may his soul RIP. A good man...
I'm 1988 the league padded Jordan's stats, and somehow, that's LeBron's fault. Video evidence and confessions from statisticians proves his and many others stats were padded.. Haven't seen any Jordanette cult members come to John Stockton defense, but he's not the cult leader who has you brainwashed into thinking he was perfect in every way
I never understand people saying Hakeem got shaq as a baby. This shaq was in shape, played very strong defense. The same post moves that he used in the 2000s look very similar in these finals. And the free throws looked better. Classic matchup.
Seattle and Vancouver are awesome cities. Vancouver is a place everyone should visit. It’s a shame these teams couldn’t remain.
What about the side roads? I tried those. 🔥🔥🔥
Klutch Sports hates this.
TB! One of my favorite players ever. His game was nice. Injuries curtailed his career but other than his height, he had it all for a point guard.
KEMP WAS RIGHT DENNIS BEAT 3M NOT JORDAN
He reminds me of gilbert arenas. Both are 6 - 3.
Bravo Maxwell
I've been following this channel for so long, and I'm glad your exposés are finally coming to light
You can see Jordan took some of Quintin Dailey's game and made it his own.
His breakout season was 2011-12. Idk what the description on about
Caffey was a good player I just don't get it why bulls organization traded him in 1998, he could won 3 rings.
Ricky cooked Michael Jordan
RIP legend
YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW GOOD BIG COUNTRY WAS!!
At 6’7 and somewhere near the range of 215-225 pounds, Rodman was an absolute savage !! A real menace on the court, a cardio machine of nonstop harassment and movement, frustrating his opponents and playing the mental game almost as good as his physical game. I feel like he’s still a little underrated to this day. There will never be another Dennis Rodman in NBA history !!
I absolutely loved Dennis Rodman! Especially when he would hit three point shots..Would piss off his opponents😂
Nearly got banished to the hinterland! LOL
Chris Mullin is in HOF!!!
Don’t look like stat padding
He RAPE Florence Ballard
He rape Florence Ballard in high school,
Yet they want to discredit his 1988 DPOY.
Thank you!!
Bron fans are idiots
😂😂😂😂😂
At 6:01 as a warriors fan was the reason why I hated this guy. Lol
I was born in 82 when he was drafted . I never knew of him until Shawn Kemp said he thinks Jordan learned his game from quintin. Seeing this video shows me that before scottie pippen came , Dailey and Jordan were a duo forward/shooting guards .
Pooh was tough!!! A Dog at UCLA as well!! He and Rod Strickland were the best point guards in college at the time!
I counted 18 assist 🤔 🧐
11:45 como hacerse millonario en un minuto.
Медленный и средний по технике игрок. В Греции ничего особенного не показал.
I think mj learned a thing from dailey
A legend. Greek Aris and Olympiacos fans will never forget him.
